TDM Delivery Models 1. Face-to-Face at Our Place We offer courses from an executive training room based in the historic, Georgian riverside town of Bewdley in Worcestershire. We can help you to arrange accomodation in one of the many nearby Hotels or Inns. 2. Face-to-Face at Your Place You set us up with the room and the computers and we drive our tutors over to you. We deliver across the UK and can also make arrangements to deliver throughout Europe and further afield. 3. Distance Online Learning Sometimes it makes sense to deliver a course fully online. Our "Online Tutor Skills" GGW Package, for example, can be effectively delivered in no other way. You may get us to train a staff team of yours who are based across different sites, or even working across different continents? 4. Blended Learning These "Sandwich" events (eg two face-to-face days with an actively tutored online learning element between the two days) incorporate face-to-face elements which can be delivered either Our Place or at Your Place (Maximum 8 Seats). Much of the hard work in these programmes will be achieved via your completion of independent online tasks and collaborative online group tasks. You will see how the TDM tutors will actively supervise your online activity in much the same way as they supervise your learning activity in the face-to-face settings. TDM Training Packages 1. Individual Sessions of Work Each separate TDM session of work is delivered as a 1.5 hour module. These sessions can be delivered at your place, at our place or fully online. 2. Taster Days These One Day (4 x 1.5 hours) events are delivered in a Face-to-Face Context at either Our Place or at Your Place (Maximum 8 Seats). You will get a comprehensive overview understanding of the topic / software we are covering and will be left with plenty of ideas for further self-study. 3. "Get Going With..." (GGW) Courses These 18-hour course packages (12 x 1.5 hour sessions of Work) are delivered in all contexts with a Maximum of 8 Seats. The programmes are task-driven. You not only gain an understanding of the topic and/or related software, you also get "hands-on" experience with making the learning content work specifically for you. ie you get practice in directly applying the learning content to your specific working context. You will be required to bring materials to the training sessions and you will leave the programmes with a very real product to show to your boss! TDM Certification is awarded for many GGW programmes, please enquire. 4. Full Courses These 36-hour taught programmes (24 x 1.5 hour Sessions of Work) are delivered in all contexts with a maximum of 8 seats and are always rewarded with TDM-Certification. They also serve as preparation for many of the externally-accredited qualifications which we deliver. 5. Portfolio-Based Learning Programmes These programmes are delivered via a combination of workplace competency assessment, one-to-one face-to-face coaching and TDM Training Programme Packages. Participation in these programmes leads towards the achievement of nationally-recognised NVQ qualifications: currently the ILM S/NVQ in Management or the C&G NVQ in the Co-Ordination of Learning and Development.
